Bobbi I remember listening to you when I was about 20 years old and fell in love with your music. I met you during that time at a picnic in Irving Texas. I missed you when you were playing for the NOBECHE Science function in Philly about 2 years ago. I was chaperoning the kids that was part of the affair. I really miss listening to Home- Made Jam. It is so hard to find your back in the day music. Please tell me where I can find it.

I am sitting here in tears listening to Sunset Burgandy and remembering the first time i heard this song as a child...with my father, whom has passed and gave me the passion for music, thinking then saying proudly "I want to be her!" You inspired me to learn music, love singing, play in the school band for 15 years and with every note...bring me closer to my father. My love for your music and appreciation of your talent continues to be a blessing to me...the strength that bonds me to him eternally! THANK YOU, BOBBI!!!!

Just wanted to say, growing up in New Orleans, especially the 70's I was always "in tune" with music, and learned a early appreciation for what "black music" was and meant, being 12 years old in 1973, I remember my step-father being a die hard Bobbi Humphrey fan so I heard your music ALOT!!! Now at age 48 as I continue to introduce my 25 year son to "real music", I found your "Blacks and Blues" album in my collection and decided to purchase the CD (along with your others), and as I sit and listen, my how this takes me back to a time when life for me as a inner city black youth, was utterly awesome. I'm hoping my son appreciates your music as much as I do, and he takes the value of it and hopefully pass it on to my grand kids. Thanks for being a part of my musical experience and I at this moment, I'm feeling like I need a little "Homemade Jam". Peace and blessings!!
